A Paranormal Erotic Romance
Be careful what you dream…After the betrayal and slaughter of his family, Rico chose the life of a rogue, every moment fueled by pain and rage. He had no intention of ever joining another covey, but was lured in by a young queen in heat. Now he finds himself bonded, and chafing at the restrictions she is placing on him. He is just itching for a good fight but never expected to find it in a headstrong and ambitious young woman.
A note from the author:
I wanted to write a book about creatures of the night, but it seemed like vampires and werewolves were being done to death.
So, I found a new monster to inspire me.
Stories of the incubus have been around for as long as the vampires, and they were just begging to be told. A creature that actually feeds by consorting with humans, bringing the human to climax, and imbibing both fluid and energy produced. How could it get any more erotic than that?
So here they are, my creatures of the night. I hope you’ll come to love them as much as I now do.

A movement in the shadows warned her that she wasn’t alone.
The tall figure of a man emerged and her hand instantly slapped against her hip. But the holster was empty.
The holster on her ankle proved to be equally unburdened.
Scrambling off from the bed and onto her feet, she faced the shadow until it stepped directly into the moonlight and she recognized his face.
Instantly the entire night’s events flooded back.
The intruder she’d shot dead, and had then watched pop back up off the ground like Lazarus from the tomb.
This guy, who’d come diving out of the sky to perform a bone shattering tackle on her death defying perp.
And wings… Dear God, she was pretty sure she remembered wings.
Her eyes sharpened on the man’s figure now. Making her very aware that he was naked, but also assuring her that he was not actually sporting a giant pair of leathery black bat wings.
“Where are my guns?”
He shrugged, circling her with curiosity.
She noticed that he was heavily favoring the arm he’d used to smash his way through the spine of her perp.
Oh, fuck. She’d left that bastard just laying there with a broken back. But – her gaze flicked back to the powerful looking man in front of her – she might have bigger problems than a crippled suspect just now.
Whoever this guy was, he was obviously wounded, but could still be dangerous.
He’d kidnapped her. Stripped her of any items she might have used to defend herself. And had her cornered in a strange location. All were bad signs, and all suggested that he might intend to do her harm.
Well, he’d already made one big mistake. He’d underestimated who he was up against.
Relaxing her posture into a camouflaged defensive position, she locked her gaze onto those shadowy gray eyes.
“I’m a cop, asshole. Whatever you’re thinking right now, it isn’t worth it”
A smile curled the edges of his mouth.
“You’re not afraid of me.”
Her gaze narrowed.
“No, I’m not. I’m pissed off.”
He stopped circling, confronting her with a stance similar to her own.
“No,” he corrected softly, “you’re curious. You feel challenged, but are excited for such a confrontation, not afraid of it. Your body is humming with energy. Muscles eagerly tensed for me to make a move, even though you attempt to hide it.”
